Gauhati University B.Ed Admission 2022:
Gauhati University has released an official notification regarding the admission of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) for the session 2022-23. As per the official notification, GU will conduct a common entrance test called GUBEDCET to select the meritorious students for the admission. Students who are eligible as per the notification and willing to get admission in B.Ed. must submit their online application to participate in the entrance test.

Eligibility Criteria of GU B.Ed. Admission:
A candidate may be allowed to appear in the GUBEDCET-2022 provided that he/she has passed the B.A/ B.Sc./ B.Com. or MA/ MSc/ M.Com or equivalent degree programme form a recognized Board/ University with at least 50% marks (or 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD).
Application Fee of GUBEDCET:
Students have to pay Rs.1500/- (Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred Only) as application fee to complete online application process for Gauhati University B.Ed Common Entrance Test, 2022.
Mode of Payment: Students need to pay the application fee through online payment gateway using their ATM card, Internet Banking or UPI. Note that no other mode of payment is accepted.

B.Ed. Common Entrance Test Details
A common entrance test will be conducted to select meritorious candidates for the admission into the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course under Gauhati University. Below we provided some important information regarding this entrance examination.
No of Questions: 100 Questions
Total Marks: 400 Marks
Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with 4 Options.
Duration of Test: 2 Hours (120 Minutes)
Medium of Test: The test Booklet and OMR will be in English. The test will be OMR based.
Negative Marking: There will be 4 marks for correct answer and (-1) for wrong answer. No negative marks for unanswered questions.
Examination Centres for Entrance Test
Candidates will be able to appear in any one of the following GUBEDCET-2021 centres and will have to indicate the same while filling the online form. A candidate has to select any three exam centres. A candidate will be appointed in any one centre based on the feasibility of a particular centre.
